Scott Coccaro | Coach and Founder
Scott’s passion for athletics began at a young age. Growing up on Long Island, he immersed himself in football, lacrosse, baseball, and wrestling starting at eight years old. By his senior year of high school, he turned most of his attention to football and wrestling—two sports he would go on to compete in at the collegiate level. Some of his most cherished memories come from time spent with teammates. Scott credits athletics with teaching him invaluable lessons that extend well beyond the playing field.
Scott graduated from Sayville High School before attending Williams College and Boston College. He earned a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from Boston College, followed by an M.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Plattsburgh. His lifelong passion for coaching youth athletes blends his background in psychology and education, allowing him to provide a thoughtful, holistic approach to training.
Scott’s coaching journey took off when his family moved to Park City, Utah, and his son joined the Park City Youth Lacrosse Organization (PCYLO). He quickly became involved, eventually serving as President of PCYLO and dedicating over a decade to coaching young athletes. As a USA Lacrosse-certified coach, Scott has extensively studied the Lacrosse Athlete Development Model (LADM) to ensure his training methods support long-term athletic growth.
In his professional life, Scott has played a pivotal role in three successful technology acquisitions and currently serves as Head of Professional Services at AtlasRTX, a NICE Company. His team blends technical and business expertise to help clients achieve their goals, and he thrives on building high-performance teams that excel under increasing demands.
Scott lives in Park City, Utah, with his wife, Katie, their two children, Ava and Hayden, and their three dogs, Roark, Dexter, and Jed. Katie is an elementary school teacher and coaches youth runners. She was a division one cross country and track athlete at Boston College. Their daughter Ava is a four-time state qualifier in cross country, coming in 9th her freshman year, and ran cross country and track at Colorado College. Hayden started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade and continued until his sophomore year of high school. We call Hayden the “Renaissance Man” because of his diverse interests, from music and computers to welding, working on cars, and parkour.
