About Scott
Scott Coccaro, founder of Evolve Lacrosse Club, started the program with a simple goal: to help athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. Drawing on years of coaching experience and a deep passion for the game, Scott has developed an approach that centers on effort, attitude, and toughness, fundamental skill development, and translating lessons learned on the field to life. His focus has shaped Evolve into more than just a lacrosse program—it’s a place where players grow as athletes and as people.
Scott’s athletic journey began at a young age, competing in lacrosse, football, baseball and wrestling. By his senior year, he dedicated himself to football and wrestling, both of which he went on to play at the collegiate level. His passion for coaching led him to the Park City Lacrosse Organization, where he not only coached but also held multiple leadership roles, including President of PCYLO. Over the years, Scott has focused on developing well-rounded athletes whose skills extend beyond the field. Today, he continues to coach with PCYLO while also leading Evolve Lacrosse. This spring, Scott will join Davis HS as a JV coach.
Scott lives in Park City, Utah, with his wife, Katie. Together, they have two wonderful kids, Hayden and Ava, and share their home with two dogs—Jed and Dexter.
